Alex Lewinski
Role: Occupational Therapist | Yoga Therapist | Director
Alex is a mental health occupational therapist and founder of Tempo Therapy Services. She brings over a decade of experience across child, adolescent and adult mental health, paediatrics and community care.
She works predominantly with adolescent girls and young women whose mental health is affecting everyday life—particularly when neurodivergence, trauma, relationships, sensory needs or difficult experiences are also part of the picture.
Alex’s approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in understanding the person behind the presenting problem. She works with young women to identify what matters to them, explore what’s getting in the way and make changes that support meaningful, sustainable participation in life.
Her training includes EMDR, Ayres Sensory Integration and yoga therapy, alongside ACT-, CBT- and DBT and trauma informed approaches. These provide different ways to support each person, with therapy guided by their needs and goals.
Outside of her work, Alex enjoys singing, trail running, yoga, being an aunty to her five nieces and nephews, and soaking up time with her baby girl.
